The Knights’ Charge

The Knights’ Charge, UCF Athletics’ Strategic Plan, will serve as a guide for the athletic department over the next five years. The full strategic plan document comes on the heels of the release of UCF Athletics’ Mission, Vision, Core Values and Goals that were announced in January.

The release of the Knights’ Charge is the culmination of a year-long process. In June 2016, White initiated a process to develop a strategic plan that could serve UCF Athletics into the year 2022.

‘A’ For Inclusion

UCF was the only school to earn an ‘A’ for racial and gender hiring practices for women’s teams’ head coaches in a new report released last week.

The two schools with the highest percentage of female head coaches of women’s teams were UCF and Cincinnati, which were the only schools that got the equivalent of an A with 80 percent of their head coaches being women.

UCF also was awarded an A for its racial hiring because 30 percent of its head coaches are coaches of color.
