The Future of Baseball

Phase I of the UCF Baseball Complex expansion project may be complete but there’s much more to do!

While the Knights had a very successful 2012 campaign, taking the next step in their goal to reach the College World Series in Omaha means continuing to expand this wonderful facility. The baseball program has enjoyed success on a national level for many years but has never hosted a post-season event.

The pieces are falling into place. The missing ingredient is an expanded and enhanced facility.

What:

• Additional general seating (increased seating capacity to 3,000+)
• Premium seating (suites and club seating)
• New and expanded press box
• Additional restrooms and concessions
• Family-friendly fan amenities, including children’s activity area and concessions
• Enhanced front entry

Why:

• Provide UCF the ability to host NCAA post season regional and super regional events
• Increase the size of fan base
• Better accommodate broadcast and print media
• Serve business community and individuals with entertainment and premium seating opportunities
• Enhance team recruiting efforts
• Increase program revenues
• Fulfill the Dream – Omaha!
